Merry Christmas everyone! Pippen is excited to show Santa all the new pottery. He's waiting for Santa to pick him and pottery up tonight.

Lakota caught Pippen in her box of treats and "secured" Pippen to protect the treats. Pippen told me (after I freed him) that he doesn't get what Lakota sees in those biscuits.

Started making pottery again yesterday evening and continued this afternoon, enjoying the season as I worked. Pippen apparently did too.

Join us at From Buds to Blooms Greenhouse. We're warm indoors! Pippen is here to help sell mugs and vases. We're at 1575 E. Center Rd. Essexville, MI (Bay City) open until 4pm but come early while the good stuff is plentiful! We restocked this morning.

Poor Pippen climbed up on the windowsill to watch me work in the garden and became tangled in the spider plant. He sat down to rest after struggling to get free.

This little elf appeared in the studio this morning with a note from Santa. While I've heard of Santa sending elves into homes to report on children's behavior, this is the first I've heard of having elves in small businesses to give Santa a helping hand! I guess there are an awful lot of people to take gifts to on Christmas Eve, so a little help from makers like me is probably good. I'll be keeping my eye (and camera) on Pippen and will share with you what he is up to in the studio, along with finished items YOU might be interested in. I'm hoping he'll be more help than mischief!
